As well as Primrose Valley Private Caravan Hire you will find many other holiday parks dotted around the UK.
Review
We booked Primrose Valley as my husband used to come here as a child and we were not disappointed! It’s a huge holiday park, much bigger than others we have been to and there’s plenty to do. Our one year old was just a bit young for most of the activities but we did the ‘tots splash and play’ which was great and the ‘sensory tots’ which he loved, just simple activities but lots of fun. There’s also a nice playground, a pretty lake where you can hire boats, an outdoor cinema (would be handy to have more info on the app about this though? Maybe the times it’s on and what films are coming on etc). The on-site restaurants are ok, a bit pricey for what they are (cheap pub food) but maybe next time we will bring more of our own food to the site rather than eat out. The beach is lovely and clean and not far to walk at all. The weather has been fab so that’s certainly helped, but I’m sure we would have found plenty to do if it hadn’t been so nice. Yes, the queue to check in was long and there are quite a lot of ‘chavs’ but we didn’t venture into the entertainment bit where the arcades are very much which is where I think they tend to go. The Lakehouse area seemed quieter so we spent more time over there. We didn’t go to the evening entertainment as we had the baby with us but it looked like there was plenty on to keep everyone entertained. We’ve had a lovely time! I would definitely recommend.
Just a short break for us but it was great to have a few days at Primrose Valley, accommodation so clean and spacious. The park is very well managed even in Covid time with precautions in place to keep everyone safe from check in to check out. Location is very good for Filey just down the road and great sandy beaches. Staff friendly and helpful, visited several times over the years and this park keeps getting better and better! Will be returning!
Got a lovely spot, quiet, central but secluded. Not much help at reception but that could of been just one bad egg (I won't name and shame) Had a night at the Lake House restaurant, food was good and value for money, drinks costly but made up for with excellent table service from Vicky. Friendly, chatty and couldn't do enough for us. Turned out to be a lovely break away.
This year has been a record year for holidays in the UK next year is expected to be even better.
